Easy turbo, while it is important to identify which political party holds power, youre being way too simplistic in your thinking. It would be more accurate and more equitable to point out who youre talking about, just saying dems is not accurate and not fair to those who do not support such legislation. . .
My state as a dem governor, and two dem senators, and we are gun toting, western boys who dont like the bill. . . I'm not a dem, but i'm farther from the Bush Republican party than I am the dems. Time will tell if the republicans can get their act back together.
I'm not standing up for the party, i'm saying that too many people just run with a story without looking at the details, that hurts us all and is one of the main reasons the party's dont/cant get along - divisivness is killing this nation and people that continue to fight will only help more the people that would like to see us destroyed.
Is it fair to call the republicans big spendars or not? Several months ago the answer would be astoundingly YES, now, not so much. That said it would also not be fair to say that becuase there are republicans voting for the current stimulus plan that republicans are socialists. . .
So, in fairness, you should blame the proponents of the bill, your own congress people or senators, but not the entire party. . .
