My girls and Jack the neighbor kid pulled a bunch of tags this year. Luckily I had plenty of vacation built up and a bunch of family and friends who were willing to pitch in and help out. We went 4 for 5 as far as the harvest, but made some awesome memories on every hunt.

Hammint those pictures really make me smile, it reminds me so much of taking my girls out hunting for the first time. I also take off a lot of time to help them be successful. You may as well put your rifle away, your going to be guiding for awhile, but if your like me it’s a lot more fun watching them then pulling the trigger. Way to stack up meat.

Nearly 100% of our protein comes from wild game, but yes, we hit our freezer capacity a couple hunts ago. Since then, I've been the Venison Santa Claus, giving to the friends and family that were less fortunate this year. A nice backstrap or some bags of jerky is great way to pay them back for all the logistical help.

My oldest will be off to college next year and likely won't have much time to go, but I've got a soon to be 12 year old who can't wait to start stacking them up like her older sisters. I love guiding the kids, so I'm going to enjoy it as long as it lasts!

Those pictures will last a lifetime of memories.
Wait until the grandkids show up better keep that body in shape LOL
