My best guess is there must have been some residual moisture from hunting in the pouring rain last week. I had unloaded it, wiped it down, and ran a few dry patches through it. Gun had been cased so maybe it didn't dry out.

Anyway, when I pulled the trigger, it didn't come back to release the hammer.

Just had never heard of a trigger freezing at 20 degrees. I’d be looking at some other problem with the trigger.Heard of firing pins sticking in extreme cold. You learn something new every day.
