I drew my 4th choice tag for antelope in Nevada in unit group 043-046 and am looking for a little basic information. I have not been to that part of Nevada, but it sounds like ample public ground and a good population of speedgoats to have a good hunt. Would anyone recommend taking a side by side or are most of the roads decent for a truck hunt? Will or can antelope drink out of the small game/chukar waterers? With the price of fuel and limited vacation time it will have to be a 1 trip scout a day or two early then hunt. Thanks

I’ve never hunted of it but there must be a lot of Antelope since NDOW keeps increasing the tags every year.
I have a friend who’s family hunts that area for deer and I think they find most of the deer around hay fields.
It’s probably the same for Antelope.

My son had that tag last year. Honestly I wasn’t impressed. They give out way too many tags. We found them all in the high country. Feel free to pm me

Nevada Pronghorn seem to use the hills more than other places. I spent a day on the valley floor and could not find but a couple. Went up in the foothills, about 2000 feet higher and they were everywhere. This was in a unit neighboring the 40s.

I’ve spent a little time in 043. The antelope I’ve seen were in the foothills and tucked into the canyons with water.
