Application concern

I'm hoping someone has gone through this situation in the past and knows it will be fine but if not I guess I will contact Arizona fish and game on Monday.

I went ahead and purchased my new license for the application year of 2019 and went and applied for elk and antelope and didn't realize tell it was to late that my hunting license number was my current tell feb 2019 license number from last year. Is that going to be a issue with me going into the draw and if I draw or at very least receiving my pp ?

If I may hijack your post a bit, how about the opposite issue - I changed my license number to the new one in the application (the new one starts Feb 6, 2019). Any chance this will cause a problem?

Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand your question exactly, but as long as u have a valid license on the draw deadline date u r good. U can a buy the license now and have it start in February if that's what your implying

nope, you're fine

I went on tonight to verify my apps were in for antelope and elk and then realized it says I have 0 bonus points for myself for elk and antelope. Then I went to my bonus point overall page and it shows my points. Does everyone else?s application when they review it show 0 for there bonus points ?

Not uncommon. It's fine.

Thanks guys I appreciate the comfort of knowing it's normal and all good... I hate this portal it's such a mess and pain!

I was worried when I seen all my points were gone and not going into the draw. I'm sure they will update it before the draw and isn't a issue like you guys mentioned.

Make sure you keep a copy of your receipts and check to make sure bonus points are applied each year. I got in on deer bonus points when they started for NR and applied faithfully every year but somehow a point was missed along the way. This precluded me from having a chance at a strip tag. My fault for not keeping an eye on things.

It makes one nervous to have a several thousand dollar investment in points and have the system or process change.

Oh yeah for sure I always print out my bonus point total from every year and keep it in a binder and update it each and every year.
