Archery Barbs

Curious if anyone was good enough to pull off the archery Barbary sheep hunt successfully?

I saw two on Instagram that were public land archery sheep taken...Roman from Hit Or Miss Archery in ABQ also arrowed one so I know of three guys who have done well...

I know of a handful and guided one as well tough hunt but fun.

I was able to stalk into bow range 3 times during the 4 days I got out there. The closest I got was 31 yards from a ram and 13 yards from a ewe. But I never even saw anything big enough. I was surprised that they were more stalkable than I expected I’ve shot several with a rifle. Maybe I always gave them to much credit or maybe I just got lucky getting close this season either way I didn’t shoot anything so I guess a mute point.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I could have killed a couple ewes. MAN! I gotta hand it to you. With an archery tag in hand Ida been letting em fly! Any Barb with archery tackle is something to be proud of on public land spot n stalk!
