Hey guys
I was hoping some of you Co. guys could give me some pointers about finding an elk hunting area over there. I have hunted elk in Utah for a while but I have wanted to hunt Co. for years now. Next year I will be heading over there to archery hunt elk. I have nver been anywhere in Co. so I,m not sure where to start. I have looked on the DWR web site at the Western Slope hunting guides and talked to some of the game wardens. I have also been looking at some maps of a couple areas. I just need some guidence on narrowing down some good areas. I would greatly appreciate any advice anybody is willing to give.
