Area 7!

I'm not looking for information on your favorite elk hunting spots.

I'm just excited to get out scouting on area 7 for my type 1 elk hunt. I live in the Glendo area so I should be able to scout and hunt a fair amount. I helped a co-worker get an elk last fall on 7.

I also drew deer and antelope permits, but I am mostly excited to hunt elk with my bow.

You have a good tag!! Finding private property would help. The bow season is hard to beat. I too applied for 7 but didn't draw.

I as well applied for unit 7-1 I didn't draw I am curious are you a NR ? And if so how many points did it take for you to draw

If he lives in Glendo, that means he was in the resident draw. For NRs it took 9PPs for 100% and <9PPs for a 30.77% draw in the Regular and <9PPs was 100% in the Special with 8PPs being 71.70%.
