Stoked from drawing a 6b early archery elk tag. Starting the due diligence process of understanding what I am in for and against. Appreciate hearing anything that can steer me in the right direction.
Can I and then do I want to hunt the Army Depot on the north side?
Similarly with the isolated islands of private mostly in the north, do the become elk refuges?
Any fire up dates in the southern part?
Last year and maybe prior years I heard of fires in the south of unit 6b. Are any of the burned areas now producing elk feed or are they elk feed voids? If so has F & G done aerial seeding similar to what they did in unit 1 about 2010?
