How has the monsoon season been in Arizona?

We got over 2.5 inches in the Phoenix valley during the monsoon, then got another 2.5 inches courtesy of Rosa last week. More rain in the forecast. Most of the high country got a dusting of snow last week.

Since July 5, we've received just over 15" to date where I'm at in the White Mountains.

Arizona got a lot of rain in October. I was coaching in a baseball showcase during the 2nd weekend and we had 2 of the 4 days rained out, with over 3" of rain in Peoria. That is the first time in about 15 years that we've ever lost a day of baseball in either June or October to rain. Locals told me it was the wettest October they've had in many, many years.
