ATV vs. UTV

Looking to buy a couple of machines. UTV seems more practical for family but I dont know about performance and reliability. Anybody out there that has a UTV care to comment. I have mainly been looking at Polaris rangers. But would like to hear about all brands

It depends on what kind of area you want to ride. The rangers are too big for most of the forest service ATV gates so they really limit where you can take them. I would consider the yamaha rhino or the new Polaris RZR over the ranger if I was in the market to buy one. They are just as reliable as an ATV and the new polaris is fuel injected as well.

I have a "rhino 04".you won,t go wrong.also check "yamaharhino.net" great info there as well.

Steer clear of anything polaris. Go with a rhino or wait for Honda to make one

Having used them all I can honestly say the Polaris Rangers are by far the best UTV/ATV on the market today.

If you opt for a side by side, I'd recommend going with a Yamaha. ATVs I'd go with Honda.
