AZ handgun question

My Wife and I are going to spend around 3 weeks camping and riding our Mountain bikes in the Sonoran desert. I always like to bring my pistol when camping and keep it in the camper shell with us when we are sleeping. Are there any AZ laws I should be aware of?

Without a permit you can have a concealed weapon in your vehicle as long as it is in a holster. Otherwise it will need to be in plain sight. You can also carry it on you if it is not concealed without a permit.
