Caught a few by accident trapping coyotes. Never tried to target them. Tough little SOBs

Hunted a cattle ranch in Wyoming where the owner gave us strict orders to shoot every coyote and badger we saw on the ranch. The badgers would burrow into his dirt dams for water holding and cause severe leaks in the dam.

And they Dig deep holes perfect for snapping a horses leg if they step in one.

Trapped one once, the dam thing dug up the stake holding my trap and went down his hole.
Who new they would do that.

There was one digging up my yard one morning when we went out to the truck. The boys were little, under 10.

Anyway, I went to shoo it away. Bad plan - he let me know he would rip my face off if I interrupted his breakfast. So I went and got a hose and a shovel.

Badgers get pissed off if you squirt them with the hose. I threw the shovel down and ran for the truck. He wanted to bite the tires. Ornery little bastard.

Kids got a kick out of it. My wife is glad she had her phone.
