Hoping for some new ideas given the amount of people that likely attend conservation organization banquets every year. What games or activities have you found to be most successful at raising money that are also enjoyable for attendees? There are always the regular buy a card from a deck and such but I would be interested in others people have had success with. Kid game ideas would also be great!

I have taken a elk antler and drilled a hole and mount a putter. Have used a big fake turf with numbers and what number you land on is the amount of tickets you get to put in for some prize. Has been a big hit for adults and kids.

For a kids only game a simple nerf gun at some sort of target. Can be very creative on what to shoot at. Its cheap to set up.

High low fire smoke card game is always a hit to

We do half and half cash: For $20, you get a chance to draw half the cash. normally with 200 people that amount is about $800-$1000

Also, we do a "Kill it, Chill it, and Grill it" The prize for that is a gun, an ice chest (Yeti) and a charcoal grill.

Card raffle for a gun safe (two decks).

Gun raffle done differertly: Out of the bowl of tickets, you draw 10 numbers. The "winners" each get a soft sided gun case. One of the 10 has the "big winner" ticket inside that wins a gun. Everyone gets to keep their gun case.

Guess the poop count in a jar game, deer or elk pellets please.
Ping pong ball toss into glasses to keep the glass. Put glasses on the floor and let folks toss at them.
Maybe a cornhole game of some kind.

For those that suggested guessing games (turds in a jar or antler scores) how did you approach the monetary side of that? Pay to guess approach?

Calvary Baptist Church in Elko Nv has a men's game feed every winter. They always have a guess the score game. All of the items are donated, but basically every person who enters gets one chance.

Could be a part of the entry fee to an event?

It's pretty fun and amazing how far the scores can vary. Good for a ribbing amongst the people.

Yep, pretty cheap to take a guess. Closest without going over if possible.
We did a dart poker board too, cards on a board, pay for so many throws and take your hand . Hit the card to get it for your hand. Best hand wins the prize. Cards stay on the board for all throws.
We used pink insulation board to put cards on.

Penny raffle always works well. Just use regular raffle tickets in a container, pick out tickets and the price is the last 3 digits of the ticket, maybe put to 4 digits. Some will be pennies while others are a few dollars, pull tickets until you are at your cost limit.

We donated a gun for a youth raffle one year, they did the card raffle for a gun case with the rifle inside, didn't reveal the rifle until the winning card was pulled. We asked for a cheaper buy in for the youth and it was a hit.
