It is not what you use, but where you hit em.

HAVE USED THEM THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS ON DEER, HOGS, COYOTES, ECT. THEY WORK LIKE A CHARM. I MADE A POOR SHOT ON A HOG LAST FALL. SHE WAS QUATERING AWAY AND I SHOT TOO FAR BACK BEHIND THE LAST RIB (GUT SHOT) SHE STILL ONLY WENT 40-50 YARDS. I SHOOT A .338 WIN MAG.

I have used fail safe on my 300 winchester Magnum But I want to try these in my 264 wm because it seems the bullets like the S.S.T and the interlock dont hold up. dont get me wrong they killed the animal but I feel that if I would happen to shot an elk or deer in the shoulder I think the bullet would disentergrate.

Two cow elk killed this year with my .300 Ultra Mag and the 180 grain Barnes XLC BT. Both one shot kills, both dropped in their tracks. Both bullets passed completely through the animals. These are the first animals I've killed with Barnes bullets.
