I support bear hunting, even hound chases.

But I cannot support a government employee (Carl Lackey) who unilaterally uses judicial process to try to silence the anti's. The NV anti-slapp statute (and the attorney's fees shifting provision) exist specifically to protect citizens against government agents that act to suppress speech and public participation in these debates.

Carl Lackey got overly aggressive and deservedly lost his defamation claim. He deserves to pay the $150K attorney's fees for the folks that run that FB page. Their posts about Carl Lackey were reasonable depictions of his job. And the FB page admins were appropriately not held responsible for third party comments that Lackey was an A-hole, etc...

Imagine if Founder was held responsible for third party comments made here.

Nothing would be cooler than a full-on moratorium of lawsuits. All of them. You can't breath these days without being sued.
