Spent 5 days on San Juan unit. Got lucky on day 4 when we spotted a nice boar. 368 yards across canyon shot rolled him. Tough pack out but the old man did it?

14 years to draw the tag, was worth the wait!! Chart shows him to be right at 300 lbs.

Congrats. Love the San Juan unit. Haven't put in for bear in Utah since my last tag. We go to Idaho every year and I have bagged 10+ bears. About time to enjoy the San Juan unit and hunt bear. I currently have 15 points. Just be a great time in the spring on the San Juan.
