Well after a 17 year wait I finally fulfilled my dream of getting a bear. This is my book cliffs bear. I want to thank GT Outfitters for an incredible experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to hunt the book cliffs for any species. They are the best in the business.

LAST EDITED ON May-21-19 AT 07:35AM (MST)[p]Nice bear! I wondered who the crazy nonresident was that had 17 bear points in Utah? I drew the same Book Cliffs tag with 9 bonus points and had the 2nd most points. There was another guy with same so I won the coin flip.

I was fortunate to have to several houndsmen pals with pursuit permits take me under their wing and killed a bear Saturday the 12th. Amazing how hot the action immediately was once it warmed up after 2 cold/wet days....
