Bell & Carlson medalist stock .?.

I guess it's to late to ask now cause I bought one, was originally wanting an H.S, but $$$...How do you think they rate against an H.S...the medallist has the full aluminum over mold frame as the H.S does.....?

It must have had a bubble in the mix from the factory, cause while I was sanding the barrel channel a hole developed, usually I would have sent it back but not enough time left, I go on my "H" trip the 19 of Nov...Oh well...

Should I glass bed the action and the hole....?..Any takers......thanks......Manny

I believe in glass bedding all stocks, even syn. stocks. While doing the bedding you can seal the hole at the same time. If you are free floating the barrel, be sure the hole channel repair does not contact the barrel after curing.
From what I have heard, Bell and Carlson has a good rep for their stocks, and I think you will be satisfied with it.
