What's the best road kill buck you've ever seen? Mine was in Ogden.

No photos but I totaled my Ford Escape when a 32" 4x4 went into my windshield in Nevada on my way to SCI about 10 years ago.

Wow that's a big deer, there was a buck not quite that big hit on the mountain green side of trappers loop last year, I couldn't get a pic though

I saw a Toad hit by a Bronco in Vernon 2003. He totaled the Broncos and we never found him.

1800 Monroe Blvd. This was a few years ago during the rut. He chased a doe out into the road and was crunched. I responded to handle the traffic accident and crapped myself when I saw how big it was.

A Few years Back!

A Couple Weeks Before Christmas!

Heading down off the Jordanelle Hill!

Everybody Clipping along at 80-85 MPH!

In the Distance I Say:

Somethings gonna Happen!

I See A Buck & A Damn Nice one Running Full Speed to the Left/West!

No Doubt!

He's Coming Across!

I Slow down Some But wanted to be Close enough to get a Good Look at Him!

He Comes Across right Behind the Car in Front of Me & That Driver never even Touched His Brakes!

Crosses & Takes the Whole Side of a Brand New SUV with the Stickers Still on it on the other side!

The Concussion Throws the Buck in to the Median & when He gets back on His Feet He Staggers Right over to us,Wobbling & in a Daze but He's on His Feet!

Quite a Bit Of Road Rash!

He's Still got all His Head Gear,Some How?

Then He Takes off as the Owner of the destroyed Vehicle is over there Stomping his Feet as the Buck takes off!

34"-35" Wide & 7X8,Heavy & Tall!

Not a Road Kill Story!

But one of the Best Bucks I've ever seen Hit!

Couldn't Believe the Damage He did to the New SUV & Still Survived!

He Had Left them Wasatch Mountains & was Headed Back!

Travishunter I thought I recognized that buck he use to hang out in my back yard for a few years with a bigger buck. The other buck was a solid 5x5 he got hit on about 1800 and harrison a few years back.

I killed this buck last year and he died about 1 yard from the road... does that count? The only difference is I hit him with my muzzleloader instead of my truck haha

Years ago a wholesale salesman visited my shop. I asked him why he was driving a rental. He said that a few days before he was coming down Spanish Fork canyon and hit, from what he described, was a mature buck. His car was disabled and while he was waiting for the cops a guy stopped and wanted to know if he could have the head and horns. He was a non hunter and said that he didn't care. A while later another person stopped and wanted the meat. When the officers finally showed up he had a wrecked car and no deer....Not sure if the next step was a field sobriety test.
