Hello, i have for sale my BeStill Custom Omega 40 cal Muzzy.

I just received this last fall from Jeff and it is a work of art! I took it to the range and shot it 28 times total on back to back days, but didn't hunt with it as i was pressed for time and didn't get drops figured out in time for my last muzzy hunt of the year and took my 45 cal instead.

It is set up with a boyds pro-varmint walnut stock with a 13.75 LOP and 1 inch pachmayr recoil pad. Barrel is 28 inches long, 1 in 15" twist. This is his new barrel with the .400/405" lands/grooves.

I am loath to sell this muzzy as I know the higher BC i had this built for will outstrip my older .45 xal muzzy, but I had an unexpected opportunity to buy another stud/packing llama I just can't pass up.

Asking $2500 shipped to your door in a hard case, with range rod and loading cleaning jag, bullet starter, primer remover, barrel drops, and drill bit carbon cleaner for breech plug.

For $300 more, i will include a 40 cal swinglock smooth sizing die with a Lee hand press as well as 70 pittman aeromax 40 cal 312 gr bullets along with 40 cal wool and veggie wads.

So, a pristine, barely used BeStill Creations rig right away and bypassing the wait for one of Jeff's amazing builds.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks!

Thanks, It is a great setup. Also, I took initial load development up to 94 gr of blackhorn by weight and was producing 2424 fps with ES of 4fps with the 312 gr aeromaxes over a wool wad in a small sample size of 10 rounds. Didn't try any smokeless in it.

That’s awesome. Jeff knows what he’s doing. I’d be interested if I weren’t already putting a smokeless .45 Omega together.
