Took this picture yesterday. Counted over 500 elk poised below the snow line to move to the high country!

In the first picture, there are elk in the lower part, but if you look at the upper right part, you can see the rainbow and elk in the following photo.

What some people forget is the "thanks" goes to sportsmen for the bounty we all enjoy.

I'll bet it was an awesome sight to see and enjoy. thanks for sharing!

That's got to be a one in a lifetime photo, in all my 46 years I don't think I've ever seen a pic of elk at the end of a rainbow. Very cool indeed!
 
That photo is better than gold like you say. As I get older those pictures mean more and more to me. Hope there are elk at the end of the rainbow for a long long time.
