Big 6 tag

Hey guys. Enjoyed the forum and info immensely. My brother has drawn a Big 6 rifle deer tag. He's a mil guy taking the fight to the badguys doorstep if you know what I mean...and doesn't get much time to scout. I know, we see this all the time, "Hey, where do I go?"
He wants to hunt 61 for nostalgia reasons. I know 66,7 and 8 pretty well. I'd love to chat with someone about reasons to or not hunt 61. As usual, no special treatment is asked.
I have a duck club in NorCal and we lease a lot of ground. I'd be more than glad to exchange a waterfowl hunt for decent info. Also, I hunt several western states and know several productive areas in them that I could pass along as well.
Appreciate you reading this. Thanks

There’s going to be about 1500 buck tags in the big six this year so it’s going to get a bit crowded.
If you guys are able to hike away from the roads you might have better luck.
Did he get the early or later hunt?

Understood. We go steep and deep. His dates are Oct 5-20. Thanks
