Big Sky Warrior Outreach's 2022 cow elk hunt was a complete success! Thanks to the many landowners and volunteers here in Montana. BSWO was able to bring in a group of 3 Purple Heart recipients to hunt in the Big Timber area. These fine service members all harvested their cow elk , with one Montana veteran actually punching a 2nd elk tag thanks to a gracious landowner. All three service members were awarded their B tag thru the state of Montana's Purple Heart recipients program in which the public donates tags back to the state of Montana, who, then awards these tags to a service member who is working with an approved 501(c)(3), one of which Big Sky Warrior Outreach is. Meats of Montana/Pioneer Meats in Big Timber donated all the processing of the animals, over $3500 worth of processing! Thanks again to all involved.
