I went back into my old PHOTOBUCKET acct and found some interesting old pictures I had uploaded some time ago.

Here is one I had saved and do not remember which year it was other than it was in Canada of a BigHorn Ram that strangled it self...check it out.

Crazy things do happen to game animals; I once found a fantastic dead buck that was rubbing velvet off on a dead tree along a stream in a severely burned area. The tree fell over after the root system was loosened by all the pushing and shoving and fell catching the deer between his antlers and pinning him to the ground!

You could see where the buck wore the ground bare struggling in vein to get free and died of starvation and dehydration. What a horrible way to go with lush grass around and water right there next to him! Sorry no pic, wasn't carrying a cell phone or camera back in those days.
