Have any of you taken a black bear grand slam?
This is a Black,Chocolate,Cinnamon and a blond.
I walked a Tube video of a guy killing
a Blonde with his bow.
He was doing good till he said he was the first to do it.
I remember it was All the rage about years ago.
So he wasn’t the first by a Long shot.

You can throw the red color phase and the black and brown calico. Have also seen two different phases of blond, the regular and the one that looks almost white in the sun with darker color around the face and paws. I have not seen the blue phase either on the coast of Alaska, but that would be fun too.

I think there is a white bear population on some Island up by Vancouver.
They used to hunt them but are protected now.
Not sure but the blue ones are called Glacier
Bears.I know in the 70s lots of guys hunted for them.
I thought they protected them and can’t hunt them anymore.
1 outfitter had lots in his area and it was a big
Fight.

I've taken all four of the colors you've mentioned. Also know lots of guys who have done the same. Didn't know it was a thing. We also have lots of bears with black or brown bodies and blonde strips running down their backs.

The "spirit bears" are on princess royal island, and are protected. Dont believe the glacier blue bears are.

Ya I looked it up.
You are correct.
The white bears are protected on that island.
But I found 1 outfitter that hunts the Blue
Glacier Bear.
The hunt is about $9,000 plus a $10,000 trophy fee.
He had a good selection of pictures so they must be able to find a few.
Definitely not a cheap hunt.

Ill be in laredo sailing by princess royal island at 0700, but ill be asleep then. Whenever im going by during daylight i watch the beach hoping to see one but i never have.

Nice Bear Photos, I have also taken the four color phases, but I killed a Bear a few years back that ended up being 19 years old, he had long grey hair mottled with what black hair was left, no teeth left and he wasn’t a really big Bear.
