Black Canyon of the Gunnison 2006

My Little brother and I just returned from our 22 annual backpack into the Black Canyon. We had two miles of river to ourselves for three days. Caught too many fish to count and generally had a good time. The only other peope we saw were 4 kayakers who were brave enough to run the inner gorge.

Beautiful country, no way would I get that close to the edge though hights aren't my deal.
If I ever draw a Gunnison Basin deer tag that's one place I'm going to see. 9 points, maybe next year.
