Bringing the MM site down.

I've only logged on more recently dating back to September or October and was impressed by the wealth of information and good stories, more recently however I've seen a lot of trash talking much like what you would see among high school kids bragging about their team and putting others down, ie. Whitetail versus Mule Deer, private ground versus public,profanity(acronyms and $ substituted for an S is not cool by the way) and general overall personal opinions with some emotions behind them getting splashed all over. Unfortunately, it seems to be a lot of regulars with many, many post that seem to think their opinion matters more and may falsely believe that they have some kind of ownership of this site. I've seen some good conversations and debates on here, maybe since hunting seasons gotten over some of you have way too much time to spend on here and are getting bored so it's more fun to stir things up? By the way, there are KIDS that get on this site, and most of us consider ourselves trophy hunters? just something to think about. No replies please, just good stories and pictures.

When I first saw this post I thought a bunch of them Realtree peeps were trying a hostile takeover.....then I realized that it would never work and they would never last. These guys would crumble and the quick wit and cunning remarks from the likes of Cass and Old Oregon.....

What kills me, is that al these Realtree "hunters" think that because we have sense of humor nad joke around with each other....that we are all "slob hunters" and aare just as bad as the anti's.

BCBOY---Mean person who makes fun of their dinky deer dog

There are a lot of us "less than respectable" hunters on this site that have accomplished much more than you can imagine or are capable of! Oh, and done so legally and ethically! If you cant handle at little good nature ribbing and childishness, get the f- out! Now go back to realtree, PETA or whatever self richeous little world that you are more accustomed to!

This is becoming a soapbox site. I don't post much but I have been on this site for about two or three years now. I think it is great. I have been able to get info, advice, and seen awesome pics. If you don't like some of the post don't read them. If you don't think it is worth your time don't respond. You have gotta be kidding!!!! all I hear about on here is how you guys have shown those "Realtree Whitey's" what hunting really is, when if I make a comparison to (BCboy,OSOK,Tuffbucker,and especially Polarbear,etc.)and hunting, you guys just got called out by a simple "grunt" call and WHAM! Down You Go! Much like a "Whitey". Merry Christmas guys! Just testing your intelligence in a game of hunter and hunted. Next time OSOK,BCboy, and Polarbear you should be patient(useful when hunting too) and wait for my response before firing off another shot, "so to speak". Now I have to go see if indeed you really did show those Realtree guys the way or if your just all talk. Next time I strap on my 70 lb. pack to hunt the illustrous Cascades your all invited with your fannypacks to carry my lunch and water. I should of saved this for April Fools, nicer Month! and you guys "collectively" should be able to figure out the "FOOLS" part. It's so fun playing possum!

I dont disagree or agree with any of you but I do think that everyone needs to be do'rs not sayers. Go out and spend 80+ hours in the field a week, do your homework offline, and post some serious bad ass pictures. If you are just joking around thats cool but do it on private emails. If you dont have anything to post like pictures or a good story go out and get some I know that alot of you guys are good hunters and can get the kind of quality we need on film, and video, along with killing some trophy animals!
