Took a long time friend hunting for the first time during the Washington late buck season and he shot a small 2x2 last Saturday. Im not sure who was more excited, him or me! At first light I had him go up a steep hill side overlooking some game trails, face into the wind and sit down in front of a tree. After about 2 hours i heard his gun go off and about 20 minutes later he showed up with a grin a mile wide and i knew he had beed successful. After he drug it to the road he looked at the deer, then at me and said,"what now?" I laughed and told him the fun was over and now the work would begin. I showed him how to gut, skin and quarter his deer and he did an amazing job. I'd say he's hooked!
