I was fortunate to be given a Remington model 700 chambered in .300mag. Came with a burris elimantor 3 scope
My uncle just gave it to me due to he only has 3 daughters. 3 years ago he had a stroke in the horse barn and was found 2 days later. He lost an arm and half his legs due to frostbite. So he put this scope on for his condtion.
Im not a fan of the pressure switch to engage the range finder. Anyone know where one can find just the standard push button that mounts on the side of the scope. I dont care for the darn wire that dangles around.
I did shoot it today and i was impressed. It was already sighted in. I thought lets see how accurate this thing is. Out in the badlands was a propane bottle at 846 yards and i had a direct hit. It was basically easy to pull that shot off.
So anyway i spent a lot of time searching for the standard push button with no luck. Next is a call to burris
