An article on themeateater.com references a arrest and conviction in Broken Bow NE, Hidden Hills Outfitters, Jacob Hueftle and to date 30 others for game violations. Total fines $570,453 and a prison sentence for the outfitter/thief. A loss of hunting and fishing for 53 years total. For those of us who advocate for stronger penalties for these thieves this looks like this is a good example.

Poachers are right up there with the worst POS of the criminal groups.

Sure hope that county attorneys and judges follow suite and continue to sentence poachers like this.

There are quite a few clicks between poachers and the worst criminal offenders. Rapists, killers, serial killers, pedophiles, and the sorts are in a league of their own. I hate poachers but the hyperbole is a bit much.
