Cabelas coming to Colorado!

I read in the newspaper today (10/28)that Cabelas is coming to the Wheatridge area in "mid 2006". Should give Sportsmans Wharehouse a run for their money. Anybody been to the new Gander Mountain in Aurora? How is it?

I went there opening week-end. Very dissappointing. In my opinion it's a far cry from Sportsman's Warehouse or Cabelas.
Certainly not worth the drive down 225 to get to it.

Its okay but nothing special. They do guarantee the lowest prices though. From a merchandising standpoint Sportsmans and Cabelas have them blown away.

I have been to gander mtn a few times. I agree with you guys, they don't have as much as sportsmans but I do like their shotgun and rifle display.

I liked Gander Mountains archery section better than Sportsman's Warehouse. I don't think the prices at Sportsman's are all that great either. Its another store to go look at. I prefer the Ganders, but not sure why.

Cabelas in 2006...ah yes, the bargain cave is calling!
