Day 2 of my muzz hunt is done, I’m thinking about calling an audible and changing my plan. Been hunting Woodruff/Randolph area, all the popular spots everyone else knows about. Can’t complain about what I’m seeing, goats seem really freaked out though, way more than standard antelope which are already on edge. I’m sure it’s just the month straight of pressure on between archery/rifle/doe hunts, and now an army of deer hunters as well. I’m seeing goats, just not my cup of tea, and no I don’t expect one to stand broadside and let me shoot it?

Can anyone advise on the north end of the unit, east of bear lake? Is that worth a drive out there?

thx

A good bit of private on the east side of bear lake. If you don't have onX I would definitely recommend getting it. Could save you some serious headache about trespassing.

That being said there are a fair amount of roads you can explore as well as goats to be seen.
