Everyone seems to be focused on Utah, but haven’t seen much chatter about Colorado. Those results should be out this week too right? Do you have your credit cards set to notify you when $xxx amount hits? I do!

Just applying for a 3rd season deer tag in southern CO that I have a decent chance of drawing. But will still be glad when I know for sure. The cut in tags in the northwest corner will certainly make for lots of issues with the guys who applied there. First, their odds are worse due to less tags available, and then if you do get one, do you keep it or turn it back in. Decisions decisions.

I put in for an archery deer tag with 5 points, that only took 4 last year. I should be a lock as there was no tag cuts for my hunt.


And yes my card will notify me the second the charge comes through.

No CC hits this week for CO. The earliest you'll see a CC hit would be May 29. The draw results start posting on May 30. Colorado hasn't been earlier than when they say they will post in years.

Are they going to post them any sooner than the 5/30 - 6/2 results dates they published in the Big Game brochure?

My records indicate that the draw results e-mails for elk, antelope, and deer were sent on 6/2 last year. The cc charge card for my antelope tag was received the same morning but who knows .

It would be nice to have the results before the CA, ID, and AZ draw deadlines…

Not sure about emails but last year credit cards got hit on May 31 for moose, June 1 for deer, June 2 for antelope and elk. I was surprised that I got my elk charge at 7:47 pm on June 2.

AZ moved their app deadline up this year to June 6th and last year it was June 13. We'll get Colorado results just a few days before the AZ deadline this year.

Unless something changes this year colorado doesn’t release early anymore. Cc hits, then preference points updated, then official results on the same day by species. If I remember it goes moose, bear, antelope, deer, elk over those few days.

It is a good problem. I had cow and bull moose tags last year that overlapped.

Also you can of course swap the moose hunt to Rifle or arcchery season if need to spread dates out better.

Got a second choice bear, which might be fun, the spot in mind is front range with a boat load of recreational activity near by… if I tag one it could make for an interesting pack out to say the least

CO has been AMAZING to me this year with a Ram tag and now a bull Moose tag. I will get my OTC bull elk tag for 2nd season that is not part of the shortened season stuff and will turn any other tags I get this year -AND stay off of the reissue list to help the rest of you hunters get some tags. This might be the 1st year in several decades that I won't harvest a cow elk.

We will be on meat overload this year as I also raise a handful of grass fed steers.

I can't wait till hunting season starts!!!!!!
