I'd Bet Most Don't Know what a #1 KILN Dried Stud is!
We had a actual Stud grade when I worked in the mill. It was between Standard and Utility grades. Then we had #1 and Select. We had kilns but seldom dried 2x4's. After going through the planer it all got dipped in Knock Stain to keep it from molding.

We did have a precision end trimmer and we trimmed a lot of 2x4's to 92 1/4" for studs. That trim saw system was home made from a WWII era torpedo tube. You set the length and it stayed right on size for days. It was accurate to within 1/32". Any custom length the customer wanted up to 16'

Stud lengths probably change from week to week, depending on the batch of the sheet rock you get from China.

Standard stud length when i was building (25+ years ago) was 92-1/4".

That said the mill that the lumber yard here got studs from made 2x6 studs 1/4" longer so....idk?

can't get good studs in Wyoming..that's why everbody is always looking for lodge pole house logs..
