check this fish out ...where Harryhunter at?

The fishing for the late fall run has been said to be good, with lots of nice fish being taken. Despite the claim of poor ocean conditions, more and more people are starting to say "Delta Pumps" might be a bigger culprit than origianlly acknowleged.

Nice to see such a huge fish even though he wasn't taken on rod and reel.

Can you imagine knowing you've hook a big one only to finally get your first good look at him and there you see this kind of huge monster salmon at the end of your line? I believe i might freaking pass out!!! lol

I sure do hope the King Salmon do soon return in huge #'s. One very majestic fish!!

That monster has been making the rounds latley.
Hard to imagine the state record is actually three pounds heavier!

That part of the river was completley closed this year to protect the reduced salmon runs.
Me & the kid fish just below that creek most years!

We have hooked some toads there over the years.
Fish that just lay down on the bottom and refuse to come in.
You gain a foot and they take two back.

It's a fun place to fish, but the fish are usually colored up.
They still kick your ass though.

Arms like rubber, sweat pouring down amd burning your eyes, oh yeah, steelhead fishing is just around the corner.

Actually Harry, my son says the steelhead fishing on the Anerican was outstanding the last week of October, right before they closed the upper section. He caught and released something like 20 fish that week. Biggest was around 11-12 pounds, though he said most were 3-5 pounders.

Stud of a fish, but given a choice....

This unbelievable steelhead was caught & released this October.
Length & girth formula put it at 37lbs.
