Tough Love vs. Spanking

(a psychological conundrum)

Most of America's populace think it improper to spank children, so I tried other methods to control my kids when they had one of "those moments."

One that I found effective was for me to just take the kid fer a car ride and talk.

They usually calmed down and stoped misbehaving after one of our car rides together.

I've included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son, in case you would like to use the technique.

Chit, I never thought about that, my kids are outta the home now..

Too funny. My girls are 9 and 11 and fight constantly. We have grounded them and everything and haven't been able to stop it. So my wife is having shirts made for each of them with their sisters picture on it and saying that they love them under it. And when they fight in the morning that is what they have to wear to school that day. I like it.
