Cmon Antelope!

I agree! Hoping this is finally my year in Nevada for a speedster. Something about Nevada antelope to me that is different from the other states.

Good luck to you. I know I have close to no chance of drawing a buck tag here. I have 3 points for horns shorter than ears so I have a good shot at drawing that tag.
I bought a landowner tag in NM this year for a hunt in August, I’m hoping for a great buck on that hunt. 🤞🏼

Hope to draw in NV. Have 4 points so I probably won’t as a NR. Next year will be different when I get moved back to Elko in a few months. Should draw Wy antelope though

I just applied for points only this year but with 17 points currently I'm hoping to pull a Nevada antelope tag in the next few years.

I would love to draw Antelope this year but only have 12 NR points.
If I don’t draw this year I think I’m switching to only the Archery seasons.

I'm trying for my 3rd NR antelope tag in Nevada but now with only 4 points it may be awhile. At 71 I might not ever go again. :)

Good luck in the draw🤞🏻. Any pics of your previous two bucks?
Nothing in digital format. I drew my first tag either the first or second year Nevada offered non-resident tags. Early 90's I think. He's mounted on the wall but not a huge buck. Just a special memory to me. Area 051. My second buck is bigger out of area 142. 15" but not real heavy.

Wish I had more pics. Wife does not seem to enjoy pictures like I do. Haaa Haa. I wanted one from every angle. I never scored him, but I was estimating low 80’s and high 70’s after drying. She missed this guy during first hour and I know he would have rocked mid 80’s.

I've never done it before but all my choices this year except one border on California. Why? Not so far to drive. LOL! And I love all that country south of Sheldon NWR.

Sounds like we applied for probably all the same units.

I killed this guy as a NR in 2017. Eligible to start putting in again next year as a resident. I have also been on a few other antelope hunts in NV and always wonder why we don't have the numbers that WY has? Habitat all looks similar, feed is great, and they aren't over hunted. Seems like the densities should be higher?? That being said, I've hunted them in 5 states and NV is by far my favorite.-------SS

I drew the same tag this year as I had in 2012, and same area for archery in 2007. I did not harvest in 2007.

The one I got in 2012 was 5 miles from my house, when my wife and I first started dating. I still remember her bouncing through the field in my old truck after I shot it. Clara was in the passenger seat bouncing around like a pin ball.

I have since killed 3 doe antelope in the same area, and my daughter (6 in this pic) has killed 1 doe as well last year. The longest trip home after killing an antelope has been 15 minutes.

Hoping to have the family along this year as well, huntng antelope minutes from my house. I love it.
