CO 66 vs 67 elk rifle

Going to burn my elk points this year, mostly to join my buddy on his deer hunt. Considering 66 vs 67 for 2nd season elk. Not planning to spike out deep in the backcountry, and not planning to pass a legal bull (I am a meat hunter with elk).

Would love to chat via PM if anyone is willing to share thoughts or experience in these units

I don't have any specifics on either, but I am looking at 66 for next year.
It kinda depends on how many points you have. In 2023, 66-2R took 3 points to draw. 67-2R only took 1.

I decided on 67, more than enough points for either but doing some e scouting and talking to a few helpful members here..67 fits my style a little better. On paper 66 looks better but success rate is decent for each, feel like I can’t go wrong. Plus I will be hunting with my buddy more this way
