CO Early Rifle Bear

Hey Guys!
I drew the unit 35, 36, 44, 45, 361, 444 early rifle bear tag. The hunt goes from Sept. 2 - 30th. I applied for this, and my long anticipated buck tag to hunt 44, but didn’t draw the deer tag! So, I am going to make the most out of this as I have never hunted bear. I’ve got some good advice from close friends but thought I’d throw it out and see if anyone else has bear tactics, tips, etc. since it is spot and stalk during their hyperphagia stage! Good luck to all who drew a tag!

It would blow your mind how many bears are right next to ski resorts, million dollar homes, campgrounds, popular hiking trails, etc. You don’t have to go deep to find bears around that area.

I have been scouting for my moose and have seen many bears over the last few weeks around sylvan lake and lime park
