CO Muzz Question

Traditions St.Louis Hawken. Due to our new law changes I have to used a damn conical now, so I will be used a hand cast Lyman Plains bullet, 395 grain.

Dude, not hatin on you but your picture cracks me up. All traditional....with the atv in the background. LOL

atv is my modern day horse. Im to crippled to saddle a horse and ride that ***** all day :D :D Just use them to get closer to my hunting area and then park them and walk in.

With patched round ball I limit myself to 125 yards. Most of my deer and elk hunting is well under 100 yards in this area so having long range ability hasn't been an issue.

Elk however, I now use a lyman plains bullet in 395gr that I cast. Well under 2" groups at 100 yards.

Hope to upgrade to a 54cal soon so I can go patch to patched round ball for elk. Damn book smart folks really screwed us over in 2018 with their rule change.

This rifle has been extremely accurate from the day I finished building it from a kit. My all time favorite.
