LAST EDITED ON Sep-20-19 AT 08:41AM (MST)[p]A little more story on the bucks. My youngest won a .243 at a local CDA dinner and we got it shooting well with barnes 85gr tsx bullets. The buck came out at first light and was quickly walking away up the hill.
At 275yds he finally stopped long enough for a shot and the little bullet did it's job.
My oldest headed up there this week after work and within 30 minutes of hunting spotted this guy in the same area my youngest got his. He too had a virgin rifle with him, a new Christiansen 26 nosler, and the 127gr barnes lrx did it's job at 165yds.
