Coyotes are legal to take by many varying means since they are predators in many states, doesn't make those means ethical.
Check your laws in Utah before you try it, or better yet just don't.

The author said "don't use this kind of trap" and then went on the describe exactly how to make it. Seems really silly to me.

I'm not a trapper but I'm pro-trapping. I would be a trapper under different circumstances.

What I do love is calling them and letting their air out with my 20 Practical! Now that's good clean fun and helps keep the predators in check a little.
