Not sure if some of you read the article on missing oil but it is hard to believe.

My thought is REALLY! If oil records are kept like this I wonder who else is getting robbed? Lol Is the mineral owner even getting what he has coming to them? Lol There just isn't enough guide lines for oil companies in this country. Sometimes I feel they just make their own rules as time goes on.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-17-16 AT 06:06PM (MST)[p]When our oil runs through our LACT we meter every barrel before its shipped down the pipeline which gets metered again by the pipeline company. Our meter gets proved twice a month. If we are even off a tenth then problems uprise... we dont make any rules. We have very strict guidlines to follow..

I couldnt get the article to upload it said try again later

Did you honestly say there aren't enough guidelines with a straight face???? That is exactly why US manufacturing has all gone out of country. Well two or three reasons. Red tape, draconian enviro rules, corporate taxation, and labor unions. If you think there are no 'guidelines' for petroleum companies you are living on a different planet than I am.
