I appreciated the good advice you gave me this year. Although I did not tag a buck. I found a good spot with a lot of action and plan to hunt Northern Utah again in two years.

Answer: early season deer hunts are a family afair-usally 3-4. elk hunts are serious business, usually hunt alone.

Answer: depends on where they fall-sometimes quarter and pack, frequently chainsaw winch for elk.

E) NONE OF THE ABOVE-I'm a bowhunter only-$600.00 for it.

A)Glass from a good vantage point then stalk
if that fails
B)Walk and spot

A)Solo or one other guy (he better be ablt to keep a secret)

E) NONE OF THE ABOVE-However, I shoot my bow daily.

E) NONE OF THE ABOVE-I de-bone the animal and pack out.

1. A. Mostly public, but I shoot cow elk on Private
2. A. A 93 ford with over 200,000 miles
3. B. $700 for used Zeiss about 14 years ago.
4. C. $1200 11 years ago. But I have so many rifles it's unfair to count just one.
5. A. Mainly, but I'll do anything if necessary.
6. A. Usually solo.
7. B. Not enough, but I shoot other rifles and my bow a lot.
8. B or A. Often boned and packed, but usually drag.
9. A. But I scout a lot of country. Proabbly over 100 days per year.
10. Just license and gas. That's the cost, wherever I hunt.

Good poll, Jerry. It's amazing to see how similar some of us are.
