Dall Sheep Hunt

I waited too long to book a Dall hunt for 2004 and some of the best outfitters are booked. The ones with openings left that I am considering are:

Peter Koser-Yukon
Bonnet Plume/Kurt Thompson-Yukon
Redstone-Dave Dutchik-NWT
Cam/Clay Lancaster-Yukon
Eric Mickelson-NWT
Deltana-Alaska Brooks Range
Pioneer-Alaska

I have gone to the FNAWS shows and SCI shows for 20 years and am familiar with several of these outfits.
Friends of mine have hunted with the Lancasters and had nothing but excellent reports.
The Dutchuk's are first rate also,I believe "Blueoak" here at MM killed a nice ram with them.He also had a very good report.
Kurt Thompson runs a good outfit in good country also.
I don't think you could go wrong with any of these guy's!
I am stoked about my Dall hunt, but have to wait till '05.

Don't know about the others but Lancasters have an excellent reputation.

Go with Lancasters -

I know the previous owner of Nahanni Butte outfitters that Lancasters now own and its a top notch dall sheep area with many big rams.

I think I have a dall picture of a big ram from that area somewhere.
