Ran up to Wyoming for a day of antler hunting. Had intended on a couple or three days, but I played basketball hard over the weekend and my legs were toast. So one day was it. Found a few antlers

The winterkill was hard to see. Multiple groups of what appeared to be a doe and two fawns I’d find dead together. They get up into draws with a few high sage bushes. It looked like they just ate everything there and died. By the looks of the brush, the snow had to have been 2-1/2 feet deep. Brush was strip clean above that mark. I looked close at most of the 25 or so dead deer I saw and only one was a buck.

And the people!! Lots of people. With that delayed opener and it likely being the last year for NR’s, it was crazy.
