Deer Tag Allocation Question

How are tags allocated when the 2nd and 3rd season quotas are listed together? Example would be Deer unit 41, shows a 2008 quota of 1836 for both seasons.

Applications for both seasons are thrown in the same "pot". Tags are awarded to the highest point totals, regardless of season they applied for.

????? I'm confused. So why would it take 5 PPs to draw a tag in Unit A 3rd season and only 2 PPs to draw a tag 2nd season in unit A??? Or did I misunderstand your response??????

A few units are listed as float units so, like I described, it is the same odds for all of the seasons included in the "float". Go to the top of the page and look up the odds for the hunt he was talking about. You'll see that they are exactly the same for 2nd or 3rd season.
