I have done a few European mounts for myself and I was wondering what seems to work the best in degreasing the skulls?

warm water dawn and time is all you need
I love the "can get it done in a couple weeks" guys because I get there work after the grease leaks through.

wrt i know exactly what your talking about! it only takes a fool to clean a skull, it takes a real professional to degrease and keep it white for years upon years! Find the horn Goose!

So is he saying it should take longer than a couple of weeks or less time? So to clean a skull you have to be a fool? Now I'm really confused.
It all depends on the animal and the quality that you want the euro to be. I have had bears degreasing for 7-8 months and some only take 3-4, I have had deer take 2 weeks and some take 4 months. It takes a lot of time and dedication to get all the grease out of a skull. Truthfully, if you do it yourself, it will cost more than having it done by a pro, depending on their prices.
