Is that a stag buck? did it have nuts? I shot one a few years ago down south by the Moab that had 81/2" bases and in full velvet like this one. When I turned him over to gut him I saw that he had two pea size nuts and hardly any you know what. The velvet never fell off and is intact today many years later.
The horns on my buck never fell off that is why they were so thick it seems that this one is the same?
